REMCO - RM-390DC

AGM stands for absorbent glass mat and refers to the electrolyte absorbed in a fiber-glass mat separator between the positive and negative plates of a battery. AGM are advanced lead-acid batteries. They differ from conventional or ‘flooded’ lead-acid batteries because the electrolyte or ‘acid mix’ is suspended as opposed to liquid that can move.

First produced in the mid 1970s, AGM batteries are more expensive to produce than traditional ‘flooded’ lead-acid batteries but offer many more advantages such as faster recharge, greater resistance against vibration and sulfation, can be stored for longer, have a longer lifespan and of course safer due to “non-spillable” design.
